Top places to visit near Ganpatipule and Jambharun As a part of our  3 days trip to Jambharun ( Blog Post :Hidden Gem - Jambharun ) , we had one day planned to visit the nearby places. Among them was Ganpatipule , which is significantly known for the revered Ganpati temple on the beach.     I will list out the places to visit near Ganpatipule and Jambhrun in this post. Tulja Bhavani Devi , Tuljapur            The ecology of Maharashtra comes alive during rainy season, be it hilly region or the plain lands everything just springs up green all around. Nature urges you to step out of your house and experience the greenery it spreads. With so much crowd nowadays at every tourist spots during rainy season, one has to think twice before travelling.  But you don't need to think twice when it comes to faith. We visited the 6th Jyotirlinga in Maharashtra- Bhimashankar temple on 28th July .There are total 12 jyotirlinga across India. A temple hidden in the midst of a lush green Bhimashankar Wildlife sanctuary.    How to reach Bhimashankar Temple from Pune We were travelling from Wagholi in Pune to Bhimashankar and google map showed us 3 different ways. I got guidance on best route from a group on social platform and reached the following decision. Here I am with yet another blog on my latest short and sweet weekend road trip.This time the destination was Mahabaleshwar/Pachgani , though I had been earlier to this place but I decided to pen it down this time. Star gazing at Bhandardara near Mumbai

Camping at Bhandardara    Its such rare occasion to see shooting stars in city, but what if you could see them all night long.Yes this is place to be in, vicinity of Bhandardara dam.A place close to  Nashik(around 60km) and 70km from Kasara railway station.  We had decided to go for camping to this site on our first anniversary, a bit surprising isn't it? Well we wanted to go for short and best trip possible to experience silence under the open sky and what better place could it be than one of the most visited site by sky watchers.
